Thoughts:

A little predictable, but if you are looking for a nice easy romance and fantasy to get started with, then this is the book series to get started with. The writing was really captivating, whimsical and the world building really helped keeping this story alive and was simple enough to understand. Overall I highly recommend the series and it was wrapped up nicely towards the end.
